Ingredients:

Guacamole
Corn cobs
Baby tomatoes
Cheese
Fresh peas
Cured meat
Corn chips

Crunchy chickpeas & black beans:
1 x 400g tin chickpeas
1 x 400g tin black beans
1 tbsp coconut oil
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp ground smoked paprika

Method:

Step 1:
Preheat your oven to 200°C and line a baking tray with parchment paper before you get started on your beans. Drain both tins and let them sit on a tea towel whilst you get the spices together.

Step 2:
Mix the spices with the coconut oil and then coat your beans in them. Often I'll use my hands so they're really well covered.

Step 3:
Pop the beans flat on the baking tray and into the oven to cook for 30-40 minutes, giving them a toss half way through.


Below are a few tips you can use to make an impressive feasting plate for New Year's Eve:

1)    Use different size bowls – this will help to add height and texture to your plate

2)    Have one centre piece – for this one, it's the guacamole with a little paprika on top

3)    Add all different types of food – cooked corn, fresh peas people need to pod, with crackers for the dip, it's all different and will keep everyone coming back for more.
