Human diversity in children's books - a roundup of books and resources

More and more parents are wanting to find inclusive books which either directly or indirectly show children that there are diverse ways to be human. In a child's egocentric world, it is easy to think that everyone exists as they do, with the same abilities, gender orientation and family make up.

We've compiled a gallery of children's books for all different ages, that are a small representation of the wide breadth of books available for children and young adults, that either address issues surrounding diversity, or subtly include diverse characters in the story.
