If you've ever wondered what it's like being the parents of an Olympian, take a look at this video of US gymnast Aly Raisman's parents nervously watching their daughter in a qualifying round for the uneven bars.

Aly's mother, Lynn, sways along with every spin while screaming words of encouragement - and exasperation. NBC cameras captured the parents' performance and yes, we think they did drop an F-bomb in there.

Aly has been performing since she was two years old, and her parents have been behind her every step of the way. In a television interview, Lynn Raisman explained her feelings at watching her daughter compete. "It's exciting, it's nervewracking ... any time you watch your kid doing something, you want good things for them."

We're pleased to report that Aly did indeed 'stick it' and will be performing again in the medal round on Thursday.
