Bad girl Rihanna is using her powers for good instead of evil.

The fashion icon is teaming up with Jim Parsons (Big Bang Theory) to save an alien race in the next DreamWorks Animation movie, Home.

The new film is about an alien race called the Boov who invade Earth to escape their enemy.

While all humans are relocated, one girl, Tip (voiced by Rihanna) manages to avoid being captured.

Tip teams up with a banished Boov, named Oh, (Jim Parsons) and together they embark on an intergalactic adventure.

Rihanna recently took to Twitter to share a picture of her character, saying "Meet Tip, my character in the @DWAnimation movie, HOME!!!”

The celebrity will also be recording a concept album for the movie.

Other celebrities lending their voices to the film include, Steve Martin and Jenifer Lopez.

Home is due for release in cinemas March 27, 2015.
