Just wondering if anyone could give me some advice? DS nearly 4 who has previously had no allergic reactions to anything, might have had a reaction to tree nuts. First time: ate brownies containing walnuts. Complained of a sore throat immediately after eating. 2nd time: ate macadamias, sore/hurting throat, 3rd time, 2 days ago, 1 macadamia, same reaction. The sore throat lasts for maybe 10mins.
We now have a referral to see a specialist and GP has said avoid all nuts.
So what do you think? Is this how allergies start? Will he end up with anaphylaxis? Or do some allergies remain mild? Totally out of my depth here and kind of freaking out!!
