I usually make potato salad with egg and bacon but am low on potatoes.
I have a packet of spiral pasta in the pantry so I might try to make a nice, simple creamy pasta salad to accompany our BBQ tonight.
Trouble is I have never made one before. I've tried the woolies one. It wasn't too bad, I guess.
My local club does a delicious light past salad with cucumber, capsicum and a really yummy dressing that I would love to replicate but wouldn't know how. I even asked for the recipe once, he smiled and said if he gave it out I'd have no reason to go back.
I would love to hear your tried and true recipes if anyone is willing to share.
Thanks in advance

I make one using

red onion fnely diced
peas and corn boiled or steamed
and dressing of light sour cream and sweet chilli sauce (we used masterfood brand but what ever your favourite is)
I usually use spiral pasta too.

Thank you baysmummy_21.
I just saw this pop up in we are discussing and thought woot, someone replied, lol.
BBQ was ditched due to the wind .
That sounds lovely, will keep it for next time.
Did the sweet chilli make it hot?
I only ask because last week I made wraps for DH and DSS with sweet chilli sauce and they complained it was too hot.

I make it with spiral pasta, diced red capsicum, corn kernels, diced red onion, grated carrot, and a mixture of mayo and sour cream.
You can also change it to whatever veggies you like, I know other people like celery in it.

I use the masterfoods sweet chilli sauce in the oranhge squeeze bottle, it really doesnt have any heat. I sometimes use half mayo and hlaf sour cream as well instead of all sour cream, kids seem to perfer it like that.

Whole egg mayonaise, the good brand Praise I think and a squirt of bbq sauce with some salt & pepper.
