I have just joined a playgroup and its great! My son loves it. Its our first time ever joining a playgroup.

I have been consistent going in everyweek, however next week i wont be able to attend. Do i ring the playgroup centre to let them know?

If it's a general, informal playgroup then no, I wouldn't.

If you are going between now and then, or if you see anyone from the group then I would mention it, just in a 'oh, we will miss you next week' kind of way, but no big deal not going, it happens lots.

If you can't make it two weeks in a row maybe let them know so they don't give your place to someone else.

Have fun! I loved playgroup. Kids quite liked it too.
