Hello,
We have started looking for a cot (due 12/12/12). We like the look of the ubabud pod and/ or nifty clear.
Love the idea of not having bars on the cot and love the look of clear acrylic sides. But am worried that it's not practical. And someone told me that babies like to feel cocooned and may feel exposed in a cot with clear sides.
Does anyone have an ubabud pod cot or nifty clear? If so, how do you find it?

I have the pod cot, and adore it, my son likes it too. The nifty actually has long gaps at either end, so it wouldnt do what I wanted, which was stop his arms and things, escaping out the sides.

It was easy to put together, but the mattress fits very snugly and it is hard to change sheets and tuck him in.

He is still on the higher setting as he doesnt sit or pull himself up yet, but he has really enjoyed transitioning to sleep in there original.gif

I had wanted an old meat safe style cotbut there were one second hand available in Victoria that I could find!

Hi Missy
Im due the same day as you.... and received the ubabub pod cot last week.
Obviously, dont have a baby yet to put it in but love the look of the cot!!!
I will send you a PM with a rec of who NOT to buy the cot from as I experienced terrible customer service with this store but the actual cot I love.
Good luck with the decision!
