Hi everyone,

My name is Fiona and i am new on here.  I am currently doing ivf treatment.  I have had 2 failed attempts and had my 3rd embryo implant on monday(15/10).  I am not sure what to think.  Am not feeling the best with it all.  I think i feel different and not trying to over think but at the same time not sure if the pain i have is period related( hope it isn't).

Wondering if many ppl have had success?

**Pregnancy and child mentioned

Hi Fiona, welcome and fingers crossed for your implant. The two week now before you find out the outcome is the worst isn't it?

Like you I had two failed attempts and then my third frozen embryo transfer was successful; my daughter is now 3.5. I found it hard to interpret the difference between signs of overstimulation and of pregnancy.

But hopefully you'll get some good news. Good luck!

Hi
We're you given reasons why they didn't work? My first attempt the transfer failed and I have so many questions as everything else in the process was fine. I was told sometimes it just doesn't work.

Hi again! No. No particular reasons. Just didn't work. My understanding is that success depends on many things so we just persisted until we were successful. This round of treatment was after a much longer, five rounds of less intense fertility treatment to have our son. We were never really given reasons when those cycles were unsuccessful. Just seemed a numbers game.

I will say though that I had some accupuncture with the last frozen embryo transfer, which was successful. Research has suggested it might help. I thought it couldn't hurt. We had unexplained infertility so it always just seemed a matter of persisting.

I hope this cycle is successful for you!

Hi Fiona.  I am currently on my 2nd cycle of ICSI and had a transfer done on 15/10 as well.

The whole process is quite an emotional rollercoaster, isn't it.  Try not to overthink things too much, although I know how difficult that can be.

Good luck for your BT - when are you scheduled?  Mine is for the 29/10.

Hello original.gif We had success on our 8th transfer. As a ballpark most fall by 3 stim cycles including FET's being 7-10 transfers. That's the average and only after then do they like to look at "other factors".
