Hi
FinngersX, good luck tomorrow.
I'm with Fertility Specialist South, and you?

If things don't work this time, I'm thinking of getting a second opinion.

Hi! I'm new to this forum, but would love to hang around if you'll have me biggrin.gif
I'm waiting for O to have FET, start BT's on Monday (OPK's today), I go late, around day 17 so am thinking we will have trfr on 12th or 13th Nov. Am day 9 of cycle. The wait is killing me just want to get on with it. 2ww will be worse I know..
It's been 6 years since we've done this, so am pretty nervous, our frosties have been patiently waiting for us - time just slipped away! Raising our DD (FET), building new house, moving and new jobs, we are finally ready to go - unfortunately I've had a few birthdays since then!.. Now I'm 39 - although frosties are from a 32 year old, so Fert Spec says they should be nice and healthy.
Having weekly acupuncture, am Gluten Free (coeliac), taking vitamins and Cartia once a day so it's all up to the frostie to stick now...
Best wishes to everyone for some early Xmas gifts...

Thanks April. I'm with Hollywood and they are fantastic. I don't know anyone who has had a bad experience with them. I was with Pivet originally and I would never go there again!!!!
Well I'm just jumping in the shower then off to do my blood test. Finger crossed for me everyone.......

Welcome vkelly, yes we are always waiting one way or another with this process and I cant agree more that it is the hardest part of all. 32 year old embryos are wonderful hope it all works for you.

Good luck fingers crossed. All us wa girls this month awsome. And so far all with different clinics. I'm with concept and always have been, cant fault them at all fantastic, and now one of the best new facilities in the country. My fs of 7 years has had to retire due to illness but now have a lovely lady fs which is kinda nice too.
Bring on the bfp fcrossed.

have a great day ladies.

Hi ladies

Another WA girl here to join the club!  I'm having my ET tomorrow (at Hollywood) and have just had the call to say my 2-day embie is at 4 cells today, so have to be happy with that.  We only had two eggs collected, and the other didn't fertilise.

I'm a good advertisement for the whole saying "it only takes one", as my DD came from a round with one follicle - so I'm crossing fingers I can have a repeat performance.  This is our last attempt.

Good luck to all of us.

x GG

HI everyone

Best of luck fingersxd on the start of very happy news.  I hope those very healthy embies give you a lot of happy news.

Best of luck to krunchie. Its great when you have some timing certainty and can get get one with it.

Gordosgirl, welcome and hope that ET goes smoothly. Wishing for a repeat performance for you

Vkelly73 - welcome.  Hope those young snowbies enjoy "back to the future". How amazing.  Do you have a few?

Hope everyone is doing well.
AFM - gave myself my second jab today. was fine, just got in there and did it and it was far better than the first pregynl shot. No bruise so far.  I didnt pinch my skin and popped the needle in at 45 degrees - thanks dr google.    I  have another last shot on monday and then a week later have the BT.  I have always done a home test before any BT as i would rather just know - but this is my first time with HCG and could not bear a positive only for it to be taken away.   I was wondering how they know if blood test is a real positive and not the HCG? My doctor said he wants to do the test and then change meds if it is positive - i am progesterone full (pregynl, crinone 2 a day and progesteroen tablets 3 a day! mental) so he must be able to tell from that first test - i would have thought he needed to see the HCG increase with a second test?

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Hi ladies,

I'm having a woe is me moment today. I'm tired and my ovaries ache and it doesnt look like I will trigger over the weekend  sad.gif So silly but it made me really down. The girls at work gave me my birthday present for tomorrow and I just wanted them to go away.

Anyway I wont know until results this afternoon and it really doesnt matter if I trigger on the weekend or not. I'm just in a funk.

Thanks for listening.

Funks are horrible cos even though you know they are no good and you have to just get over it, its so much harder doing it! can you hide in a corner for the rest of the day and just put it down to a crappy day and tomorrow will be better?

oh clrw, sorry to hear this.  Any chance of skiving for a "pre-birthday afternoon". Just go MIA for a bit and have a wander or go and do something just for you.   Happy birthday for tomorrow.

Thanks for the pep talk ladies. I went to the gym, then went to Topshop with the lovely gift card the work girls had given me and purchased some goodies. Made me feel much better. Also, more good news. BT results show I ovulated myself today so no need for trigger and Wednesday transfer!! Yay I can go to the Melbourne Cup do I organised... yay!  Feel much better overall - hopefully I dont get so funky during the TWW. Apologies in advance to you all if I turn into a beast!

The suspence is killing us Fingerscrossed!
