My baby is having two teeth removed...

.....and I feel really bad for her.  She is such a sweetheart and has no real idea about what she is in for.  Poor kid.  She has already lost her two front teeth once thanks to these wretched supernumery teeth and now she has to do it all over again.  And then she has to live with no front teeth until her adult teeth descend.  I think the tooth fairy will be extra kind to her tomorrow night!

if any consulation  my ds knocked a tooth out at 8 months one of the lower front ones so i know how you feel but your poor little girl yes i think tooth fairy should be extra nice  to her (maybe a little doll or something for the pain she will go through )

All went well.  She was more upset about the numbness than anything else....I think it freaked her out!  We went to the toy shop before the appointment and she picked out a fluffy Pokemon toy to cuddle during the procedure (no dolls for this gal).  She has eaten, had a swim and doesn't seem in pain at all.

Tobias'mum, gosh poor kid.  I hope his adult teeth come early rather than late!

Supernumery teeth are extra baby teeth.  She had two extra front baby teeth that pushed the first lot out.  The supernumery ones were a funny shape, pointy, and so the dentist took them out.  Lots of people have them apparently but they normally grow up, not down so go unnoticed.
