Natuzzi and King are lovely, but they are not top of the range. They are not sofas that I would expect to be able to hand down to my children. I would expect a 10-15 year life span.
And $8k is not enough to get the better aniline leather, at least at King, even during their almost continuous sales.
We replaced a 16yo King lounge earlier this year with another King, and the old one was handed on to friends - still very servicable, although the leather is a little worn and the stuffing has sagged a little. I agree with the PP about the shelf accessories etc - teak is OK, but the other are a little naff.
