Thought I would preempt original.gif

Which would you rather have?

A - all charisma, no wisdom
B - no charisma, all wisdom

What if you were single?

In a relationship, which would you want for yourself and your partner?

Charisma isn't the same as beauty...a person can have plenty of charisma despite not being beautiful, and can be stunning but have no charisma.

Charisma and beauty are completely different things, as are brains and wisdom!

What are you actually trying to ask?

For the record I would ALWAYS choose brains over beauty absolutely regardless of relationship status. But them I am a crazy person who thinks that as a woman I might be able to contribute more to society than something nice to look at....crazy I know, I'm seeking professional help!

Socially inept, have brains.

Met and appreciate brains cool.gif

A beautiful piece of artwork can stay silent in the corner for all I care.

You want it in a nutshell?

I'd rather be smart than pretty.

I'd rather be interesting.

I'd rather be Wonder Woman.

Those big pants would mean I wouldn't have to wax.

Catwoman would be better.  Outfit is meaner and she doesn;t have to wax anything at all.

I'd rather the brains. Looks fade over time.

Brains. I'll then invent something to make me a gazillionaire, and if my money doesn't make me attractive enough, I'll hire people who just have to tell me I'm beautiful all the time. If that fails, I can always pay a plastic surgeon somewhere to make me look like Barbie.

But then you would have to be suuuuper skinny to fit into the contraption..I mean outfit.

Can we add a long schlong to the list of what we would prefer?? (Not that I would pick that...size of the fight in the dog, not the dog in the fight and all that......)

Even as an 8yo I was of the opinion of brains. Brains can get you wealth, wealth can buy you beauty.

If you are pretty you can get wealth but you can never recover the lost brains.

I wanna be pretty...... Cos then a brainy man who invented something that made him a gazillion dollars will want to marry me and I can have it all without having to the work.  I just have to give up food, comfortable shoes and my opinions.

Well, they would be perfect on the dinner table until the brain was consumed and then they would be perfect at the dinner table.

Zombies who have brains are either holding them in their hands or swallowing them.

Neither.

I've always gone for intelligent men who I have a great rapport with. Intelligence is the most important factor to me, but I can think of at least one man who is very intelligent, good looking but has no sense of humour or charisma & he'd leave me cold.

I don't let them get close enough to evaluate their looks.

Since when did charisma equal beauty. It is a totally different characteristic.

Brains and personality.
.
As long as the zombie refuses eat me, I dont care what they look like or how many brains they eat lol

Make up and surgery can make you pretty, but they can't make you smart.

Of course, that's easy for me to say as someone who has both looks and brains. My opinion might be a bit different if I was smart but seriously disfigured in some way.

#22 Tigerdog

To me they seem to be a bit mutually exclusive.  I'm highly suspicious of lawyers/porn stars/glamour model types.  I believe that if you really do have that many brains, that should be enough to get you through and you should be smart enough not to buy into the beauty myth.  If you have brains I guess it doesn't necessarily follow on that you have self-esteem, however when I was at uni there weren't too many glamours, to get through all the presentations and public speaking involved people generally developed enough confidence to stand on what they were given by God in the looks department.

Surely if you had brains then making yourself look like Barbie if all else failed would still not satisfy you?
