David Jones isn't doing Click Frenzy and has decided to compete on their own - their one day sale as already started in store and on line and goes until midnight online I think.

I'm finding the website super slow but so far have seen 25% off kids clothes and am trying to look around at what else I might like.

SLOW?  I can"t even get the home page to load  glare.gif

And Australian retailers wonder why they're losing the battle on-line.

I gave up about 10.30am this morning and haven't bothered since.  Too slow.

Yeah I predict that the same thing will happen with click frenzy tonight. Have already started a big Amazon order instead!!! Even 50% off an Australian website probably doesn't match Amazon.

I managed to get the site to load... only to be greeted by Miranda Kerr's smiling face telling me the online store is in the process of an upgrade.

I'm saving my pennies for the US Black Friday sales...

They just posted on FB that they are performing some urgent fixes to the online store so let's hope it does something.

There were big adverts in the city papaers today with all the deals listed if that helps. Also, all stores open until 9pm tonight. It's also Myer cardholders night tonight in Brisbane at least (but anyone can go...).

Site still down with a bollocks message about high levels of traffic.  rolleyes.gif

Someone needs to mention the term 'Load Testing' to the IT guys.  Perhaps they have never heard of it.

Meanwhile, like a PP, I look forward to the US Black Friday sale. original.gif

I managed to get an order to go through, and just got an email saying they are unable to despatch it and offering a refund. So it's taken them 8 days after the original order to figure out they didn't have enough units stock in the first place.

Massive fail DJ's.
