Hi There Ladies,

I know it is only November but I think it is almost time to put in nominations for the thread of the year!

I hope everyone has a great week!

Well I'm going to nominate the Vagasil (http://www.essential...2685&hl=vagasil) thread I started, seeing as how it derailed spectactularly and then just when it was getting nasty, turned into something hilarious.

Actually, on second thoughts, I think my vote goes to the Bridezilla thread, absolute gold!

Was the epic "Why do you not believe in God?" thread this year?

Yes, I vote for vagasil or bridezilla here. They have been brilliant!

ETA: How about the one about going commando? That was great, if only for its educative nature (c-strings).

Parents drinking at school functions was an epic thread of infinite crazy.

Nothing will ever surpass the letterbox neighbour-nazi thread IMHO. Was that 2011?

Am thoroughly enjoying Bridezilla though, it's like a movie script.

What thread was the "putting a 19 yr old in day care"?

ETA found it, it was about leaving kids home alone... 34 pages later descended into hilarity http://www.essentialbaby.com.au/forums/ind...1003392&hl=

So many contenders:

several food options: white bread, yoghurt etc

vagina related topics: vagisil, waxing/brazilians

any of the how frequently do you threads: change sheets, wash towels, bathe kids, bathe self etc etc

so many fond memories of sheer hilarity at some of the response and how serious some people took some of these discussions. biggrin.gif

Surrendered wife, I think she was.

Descentia's farewell thread was full of win.

OK I've been AWOL lately and just noticed via my PM inbox that a couple of messages I'd received from Descentia were labelled as "deleted member" so searched for her name and found this thread referring to her farewell thread...

What did I miss?

Obviously she's left EB sad.gif

Must've missed me I think  biggrin.gif

Well, Mel, if you're reading this - hope all is well with you and the family.

Didn't la di dah start a thread about cats that sparked something like 69,423 responses and 95 pages? I can't find it in her archives. Did it get nuked?

Surely it has to be the thread where people said they weren't comfortable leaving their 16 year olds home alone, and said you could find holiday care for 19 year olds?

It was, because it was before our Cat turned up - and that was 12 months ago now.

I can't believe that is serious.
