Sooooo my mother loves me so much because she can give me money and know I'll always find her the right deal online. (This is an exact quote by the way).
This time she's given me a tricky one..... She wants a wet and dry vacuum cleaner that can shampoo carpets too for under $500,-
There's a few different brands and different types out there, but am having troubles finding reviews of  some of the machine available.
Has anyone got one of these machines? If so, what brand and do you recommend it?

Yeah I have seen that one. The problem is that they don't have much storage room right now, so they want a 2 in 1 machine instead of 2 separate machines sad.gif

I have a Vax Wet and dry machine. But to be honest, it's a bit clunky and doesn't handle the dry side of things that well so I also have a dyson for dry vacuuming and tend to keep the Vax just for the wet stuff (hard floors and rugs/carpets). It doesn't get used all that often but does a reasonable job when it does. Great for cleaning up spills (or vomit) off carpet!

Thanks Macv3. I was looking at a Vax pet  and a Vax Wet N Dry vacuum cleaner. I can't find any reviews for the Wet N Dry one which is the cheapest of all the vacuum/shampoo combo's....

This exactly. We have a Vax Wend and Dry but only use it for shampooing. We have a Dyson that we use for normal vacuuming because the Vax just doesn't cut it. Sorry, I don't really have another machine to suggest.

Thanks Mintie. Well, at least I can scrap the Vax Wet N Dry. Is THIS the ones you ladies have?
