Oh yes please.

I'm having some down time after a very frazzled day.  My next door neighbours but one are building a second story....and the noise of the builders hasn't let DD nap.  Grump!

How's everyone else?

It looks like I just found it!
Sipping my second glass of wine right now, saving myself for the hens I'm going to tomorrow night. And wishing my kids would GO TO SLEEP!

What are you up to?

Dropped DH at the airport this morning for 3 weeks away, so am a bit down.  Am also getting over the gastro bug that my kids ever so kindly shared with me, so it's a small glass of Chardy here to relax.

3'sACharm, depends what he said and why.  We need more information for ethical analysis.

DS came out of the shower with a hand mark welt on his shoulder and DH said he didn't do it

Oh dear.  I'd be cranky - how can you parent as a team if he can't be honest about his parenting?

Geez, if your DH had done it, surely you would've heard your DS say something when he did it? Even out of fun, that would've hurt. Did your DS tell you who did it?

WTF?!  I'd be hopping mad that he'd 1 - hit my child, and hit him hard enough to leave a mark and 2 - fibbed like a toddler caught with his hand in the bikkie jar  mad.gif

Sliding into the bar drink in hand...

3'saCharm - wow that sucks.  my kids are very fair so you look at them wrong they get red marks but a hand mark is a hand mark.  Fess up man.

Today has involved 7 hours of typing, four cakes, colouring icing, two loads of washing, dropping DH off to pick up his car (hour and a bit round trip) and did I mention DD has a cough which only apepears in the wee hours of the morning and 'apparently' is only cured by mummy lying next her in bed  smile1.gif

Tomorrow we have three birthday celebrations, thankfully the last one is the adult version and is sans kids so we can relax and enjoy ourselves too.

DH showers the kids when he is home and I was cooking dinner in the kitchen...I heard him crying (over the loud music I had going) and thought nothing of it until he came out and said 'daddy hurt my shoulder'  mad.gif

We were out last night celebrating our tenth wedding anniversary....at a restaurant very aptly called Buzo! 'twas very nice, consumed a lot of vino, possibly a dessert wine, a digestive...argh it's all a blur....

White lie or more serious?

Sliding in.  Sierra Nevada in hand.

Have just come back from picking DS up from a lazerzone party.  He's so hopped up, it'll be an hour before he gets to sleep.

3'sACharm- it'd be pretty p*ssed off too.  More at DH lying than the smack itself.  We do give a smack here and there, but not hard enough to leave a mark.   You'd think your DH would at least own it, wouldn't you?

8am cricket tomorrow, so won't be a late session for me sad.gif. And I feel like having one!

It has taken my 8yo TWO hours to get into bed. I am not impressed. One drink coming right up!

On the shoulder?  That's an odd place to leave a mark.  Was it a hit or a very firm grip or....?

Oh gosh blackcat20..   My thoughts are with you.  sad.gif
