Can anyone recommend me an iPad app that can open and edit Microsoft Excel files, as well as save files in the same format?

I need excel for my study, and my laptop is a bit broken  rolleyes.gif

Apple Numbers might be what you need - basically Apple's trimmed down version of Excel for iPad.  I haven't used it, I've used Apple Pages which is the MS Word equivalent for word processing which is pretty good, so I assume Numbers would also be quite good.
