Hi ameliasmummy, I thought I'd post this link to some local groups/services in your area of Geelong that might be of interest to you. http://www.geelongaustralia.com.au/directo...amp;k=0&c=0 I found a great way to make friends was going to "Mainly Music" group every week, my dd and I both really enjoyed the music, play and chance to chat with women in the area. When I was going about 5 years ago it was about $3 per session and that included a hot drink for me and snack for both children and mothers. Dd started when she was 6 months old. Mainly Music has a group in Belmont, scroll down in the link below- http://www.mainlymusic.org.au/groups/Austr...26/Default.aspx Have you been involved with the local mothers group through the MCHN Centre? I also found that enjoyable. All the best.
