that has never happened to me but i have sent a few blank "pocket texts" before... do you have a touchscreen with predictive text? dont know where the profanities mightv come from but i wonder if you've left the screen on messages and put it in ur pocket n the phone has been predicting words while your pocket presses them? IYKWIM?just a thought shrug.gif ...

Is it possible someone else had your phone and saved a message as a joke, and then you accidentally sent it?

ohhh when i was with 3 it used to happen all the time! only if i was texting someone else on 3 but... it would also pull random sentences from from messages up to 12 months previous and add them randomly in current messages i sent. it was waaaay weird. havent had it happen since i left 3...

it all happened in bout 2 mins if you know what i mean? i wrote the text the wrote straight back etc....phone was in my hand the whole time.

If you have an iPhone could you have accidentally pasted some random text in from the Internet?

This happened to me.

My sister said the same thing....then resent the message I supposedly sent her....the first half was what I had said, the second half was a message I had sent to dad about three months prior!!! It was totally weird.

She thought it was my fault until I copy/pasted and resent what I actually sent....

As a PP said, sometimes my phone will send half a msg that I actually wrote interspersed with lines of a text msg that I sent months and months ago. Even if the msg that was sent months ago has been deleted - if I then go and look in Sent Box it has reappeared. These msgs then refuse to delete when I try to delete them! I figure it is just some quirk with the technology? I am NOT with 3 like the other PP so it obviously can happen with different companies or maybe  types of handsets.
