When my son was little he had a John Deere ride on tractor which back then (he is now 10) was about $500 and they are now circa $800 new.
DD who is 3.5 loves Barbie and I saw the battery operated barbie cars. I noticed they come in 6v and 12v but would imagine the 12v to be faster/better. I'm a bit concerned however as they are so cheap.
Does anyone have one and is it as good as the John Deere tractor's or are they cheap piles of junk?!

My parents got DD a 12v car off dealsdirect (not Barbie) and it was great last Christmas when she got it.  Now it has to be pushed if she goes off the concrete!
