What to buy 13 & 14 yr old girls for Xmas?

I have no idea what to buy my 2 teenage nieces for Christmas. They are 13 and 14 yrs old. Personality wise they couldn't be more different - the 14 yr old is quiet, plays multiple musical instruments, loves the PC game mind craft and hates shopping. The 13 yr old is a social buttefly, likes shopping, plays differents sports and loves clothes. I don't want to give them money or a voucher as the 14 yr old has let another voucher expire because she is the kind of girl who doesn't spend money. They both gave an iPod and an Itouch.

I have repeatedly asked them what they want, they either say that they don't know or mention something really expensive like an iPhone which I am obviously not going to get them.

What are you getting your 13/14 yr old daughter/niece for Xmas? My budget is max $50 each. I need ideas!!!

My 13.5yr old DD said the same thing. I don't mind, anything but she did try can I get nothing else and get an iphone? LOL

My DD likes Owls and Paris (Eiffel Tower) things so she is getting a few bits and pieces with Owls or Paris. I bought a nice cushion for her room which she will like. She also still likes Smiggle or Typo things. She is getting a nice beach towel too. Something like that if they like swimming/beach would be nice with a beach bag.

If they both have an ipod do they have a nice cover for it? Or a speaker? Or itunes voucher?

How about a couple of movie tickets each so they can go with a friend in the holidays.  You could add a box of chocolates to be enjoyed with the film...

Vouchers for their favourite stores. I have 5 kids 1 is 14 and 1 is 18. Typo is good for bits and pieces like the lights mentioned in the next post and themed stuff.

itunes cards, movie vouchers, surf store stuff, ipod cover, ipod dock, hanging lantern lights for their room, painted canvas for their room, getting to the age where a nice bag might be handy for them. Surf brand beach towel.
