DH is away so I'm left dealing with a half dead bird. Why is it that I scream and carry on and almost vomit putting it in a box so the other birds don't peck it yet at work I'm confidently able to dress and clean a recently deceased person without a second thought?

I'm scared of dead birds and dead mice. They creep me out even more than the time I was asked by a friend if I wanted to say goodbye to his Dad and didn't realise he was actually dead in the room.

Probably because it's not actually dead. How awful, I hope it's out of it's misery soon.
