Did anyone go to the Handmade Markets in Canberra this weekend?
I'm trying it find the name of a stall I saw, but can't remember what it was called sad.gif
The Handmade Market website doesn't have a map I can check, and the list of retailers doesn't bring up anything familiar.

If you we're to stand at the entrance to the main hall, facing into all the stalls, it was on the left hand wall, about 3/4 of the way down. I think it was next to the stall called erinLouise (selling singlets) and near a shop selling lamps.
They sold vintage style dresses & clothes.

If anyone could help, that would be wonderful!!

Maybe contact Shop Handmade in the City and they will have a layout of stalls or if you can describe to them what was for sale there they might be able to help.

We need a secret handshake! Or a knowing wink maybe.

Was it any good? I went to the last one but had to hurry due to having a husband in tow and it was really crowded for my toddler.

I enjoyed it - it was busy, but I just went with DS & a friend, so no toddler this year.
There were so many great retailers, it was a shame I'd done most of my xmas shopping already.
I did buy myself some nice stuff though, including something from Puggle and a geeky 'pi' necklace from here: http://crankybot.com/

I'm always amazed at how many people I talk to haven't heard about Handmade Market or if they have, think it must be all about crocheted tea towels and lavender bags.

There's also an associated shop in Civic - Shop Handmade. They run lots of great classes too.

Here's a few links to Handmade for any interested lurkers:
