My mum moved into a rental property about 5 weeks ago whilst her home is renovated. I am taking over the lease when her house is finished. (Private landlord and they have agreed to this)
Anyway, the day after she moved in I tried to set up her tv using the aerial outlet in the lounge. Only a couple of channels would tune in properly, the rest said no signal. I informed the landlord, and she said she would get her husband top come over within the next few days and have a look at it. Fast forward 2 weeks, and still the husband has not been to look at it. I contact the landlord again, and she says her husband would come over a couple of days later, and that he hadn't been over yet as he had been too busy. This time he did come over and said that there was a problem with the aerial and he would organise for it to be looked at by a professional.
Fast forward another 2 weeks, and noone has been and the landlord has not made any contact. I called the landlord, and she said that they had been busy still, and that she was organising some quotes. Another week later, and still nothing has been done.
So what do I do? (or my mum do)
I know it is just the tv reception, so in the scheme of things not too major as such, but when we signed the lease we did so on the proviso that everything in the property was working as it should, and obviously the tv aerial (I am guessing on the roof of the house) isn't.
