frozen ham how long to keep

I forgot about an leg of ham,still in package in the freezer,never opened.Its been in there about 12 months.Does any-one know if it would be safe to bake and use,or should i count my loses and throw out.

I would probably take it out and defrost it, if it still looks OK then maybe go for it?  You're going to be cooking it anyway.
