I'm having a little boy in November and would love to hear some quirky ideas for a nursery theme. We're currently renting so I can't paint the walls, and am probably going to use stick on wall decals to jazz it up a little. I want to use bright colours and cute prints, does anyone have any funky ideas for a theme?

I have done DS's room in a space theme.

Lots of navy blue, but also lots of splashes of yellow (stars) and reds and oranges (rockets and cheerful robots)

Something we did for a friend was get a beautifully illustrated children's book (the wind in the willows) and frame some pages, or smaller cut out illustrations. Then the rest of the room was done with some of the same animals and colours. Looked amazing.
