I have an option of taking on some more work next year so have been taking lots of things into account when working out what to do. (eg cost of additional childcare, etc)
I have been looking at our entitlement to FTB A which we are borderline. According to the Human Resources site we can earn up to $139,882 between us and still get something, but when I use the rates estimator even with what we earn now $131,800 it says that we are not eligable.
i know that I sound scabby! However I need to ensure that if I take on an extra day of work that we do actually come out in front. We can potentially pay for an extra day childcare, loose and FTB A, loose FTB A supplement, and loose the schoolkids bonus. Has anyone else been borderline, how do you ensure that you are either over by enough to cover yourself or just under.
