This is one stage of parenting that I absolutely loathe -- the losing teeth stage - as I am totally squeamish around wiggling teeth!
Me too!! I can't stand it. DD#3 takes great delight in showing me and watching me freak out. While DD#2 is squeamish about it herself and wont touch any wiggly teeth. She had a baby tooth that was pushed to the front when an adult tooth came through and she wouldn't touch it. Dentist kept saying it will come out telling her to wiggle it but she wouldn't. Was so awful seriously took almost 2 years to fall out!
Ok now i am worrying because it is her top 2 tooth that are wobbly and after googling it seems that the bottom 2 usually go first (I over-think things!!).
Now just waiting for the dentist to open so I can give them a call.
Has anyone's child lost their top teeth first?
Its no drama as long as the adult ones are coming. Which they should be as that is the usual reason for wiggly teeth.
Even DD#3 who lost her top two unnaturally it was no problem once the dentist confirmed her adult teeth were far enough down in her gums so that the teeth beside wouldn't move over. Luckily they were far enough down but still didn't come through for just over a year!
