I'm trying to reduce our use of packaged snacks for DS (almost 2) by having stocks of single serve home made snacks in the freezer that I can throw in my bag on the way out the door.

So far I've been making banana bread, corn fritters & apple pikelets, but would like to increase the repertoire.

Any suggestions?

I made these in a mini muffin tin

I used normal greek yoghurt, they were quite yummy and the toddler liked them.

We don't do much in the way of snacks. She's pretty good with three meals plus her milk. When we do, it's almost always fruit. A banana or apple makes a great toss-in-the-bag treat. For snacks at home, it's usually grapes or sliced strawberries. Occasionally some cheese cubes or half a peanut butter sandwich if it's going to be a really long time until dinner.
