Looking for some advice as I am new to all of this.

I am 24 and my husband and I have within the last several months slowly taken more steps into TTC but not at the point about stressing about it yet. However, I started tracking my periods (more efficiently) than in the past and ovulation dates. I have always been regular with my periods. However, this past month i started my period 5 days earlier than I should have. It was just a moderate "period" not heavy or light seemed typical. Also, though I thought I was sick with the "flu' or something as I work with preschoolers and they have all sorts of germs. I made it through the days fine, but by the time 4pm came I was exhausted and down the rest of the day. Feeling tired, nausea, and just plain blah. I have slowly felt better but not 100%.

Although I doubt I am pregnant the whole early period has really thrown me. Any advice as whether I should even consider being pregnant or just let it go and it was my period and the flu. Thanks. Any positive answers/opinion are appreciated!

I would say it's unlikely that you're pregnant with a moderate flow but definitely not impossible, so just take a test. It's more accurate than any advice we could give you! original.gif

5 days isn't a particularly unusual variation to cycle length so I wouldn't worry too much. Stress can cause changes to your cycle along with illness and a bunch of other stuff. I'd be happy to have my cycle only vary by 5 days each month  laugh.gif

Thanks! DUH! Most likely stress (close family members health) and not feeling well brought it on earlier. Its just not me to be early. Stress isn't a new thing so I didn't even think of that.
