I'll get out of bed to cook late lunch/ early dinner at some stage ....

I'm having a teeny tiny Christmas, too! DF and I got up at about 7.30 and unwrapped each other's presents that we got for one another, then he went off to work and now I have the house to myself for the rest of the day I've got a stack of movies I'm going to watch!

Here! Just DP, me, 1 month old DD and puss. We banned the travelling sideshow of us travelling with relatives this year, used DD's imminent arrival as an excuse.
Slow cooked pork belly got put in the oven this morning, seafood is in the fridge; the world is a great place.

We are having Christmas tomorrow so that DH can be here when the boys open their presents. So we are having piklets for Christmas lunch, which my boys probably enjoy more anyway.

Spending the day at home with our 3 kids and it's bliss. No rushing and dragging the kids around this year.
My youngest two got up at 8.30. We breakfast, didn't start opening presents till 10am and now the kids are playing. About to have lunch, then naps and Christmas dinner. Loving it! Best ever!

As teeny tiny as it gets with 6 kids, we agreed a few years ago that Christmas is our time, we catch up with family and friends either before or after Christmas.

DS and I are going to my parents. My brother and his girlfriend will be there too. We always have teeny tiny Christmases as have no family here so it's usually just my parents, brother and DH (but DH is soon to be exDH so he isn't coming).

Me, DP, sister and foetus.
(and cats but it's hot so they're under a tree somewhere - probably next door)
Will have bbq lunch then ice-cream but will make some stickjaw sauce. Don't have a recipe hopefully can make it up - anyway some concoction of sugar, butter and cocoa and prob cream.

We've managed to avoid a giant family Christmas this year too - it's just us and the kids, and my mum who lives with us.
The kids opened a whole world of presents this morning, and they are now busy playing with them. We've had a bottle of fizzy with our neighbours/besties. I think my Grandma is going to pop over shortly for a quick hello, and that's about it. Will fire up the BBQ later for some butterflied lamb and lots of seafood.
So nice and relaxing!!

Well, our teeny tiny christmas isn't so much by choice - 900km north of my family, DH's mother is 1200km inland and north.
My younger sister is spending her Xmas in Perth with her boyfriend's family. In order to actually meet the guy she's been dating for over a year, we postponed flying down to my family until the 28th.
Not that christmas has ever really been a big deal, but it will be nice to see my nieces. I only get to see them the once each year

Just the three of us here today. DS (17 months) woke early so had his cranky pants on - put him down for a nap 1.5 hours later then we helped him open his presents after he woke up (DH and I don't do presents between us). DS is still asleep for his second nap - coming up on 3 hours now - so DH and I have been couch-vegging, eating yummy snacks and watching LOTR. I am 36 weeks pregnant so happy to chill out for the day as I have no intention of going into labour.

We are enjoying an itty bitty chrissy here. Just the 4 of us plus 1 cat 1 guinea pig & a Mexican walking fish(pet sitting). Got up at 6am to flailing arms full of wrapping paper. I was given an awesome new teapot for Christmas from my kids & husband, woohoo it's a TARDIS. It's a tad warm out so we have the Dr Who marathon on & snacking on too many fruit mince pies. Got a pork slowly roasting in the oven & it's nice & quiet now.I hope everyone is having a great day no matter how big or small.
