I was JUST thinking about why there wasn't a bar for the losers stuck at home on NYE (like me Tounge1.gif)
Happy NYE!

We're not losers, losers battle home in the traffic and the public transport after watching the fireworks, we can watch the fireworks and then turn the TV off and go to bed and we can be as drunk as we like!

Ahhhhh....Finally a baaarrrr!

Just downed my first yellow glen Jewel (cause DS won't let mummy lie around feeling sorry for herself all day tomorrow)

I have hairspray on the telly, and DH and his mate are outside chatting away.

No big night out on the town here, just the way I like it biggrin.gif

I am singing about creature of the night and wanting to be dirty...  wub.gif  Rocky Horror

Ange Vert - yes be stubborner! the minute she knows she's stubboner, she wins ;-) my DD is asleep but if the neighbours continue to let off their own fireworks that may not remain so... it's not just the bangs, it's the dogs barking afterwards!!

Greenbag - oooo!! fingers crossed for a safe, speedy birth if it's starting!

Drats- my lo seems to be stirring, grrr!

I hope she goes back to sleep, please don't be awake - mummy wants to watch the fireworks in peace!

Mine's right there with yours, Ange. DP's on her second attempt to settle her and I've already failed my first attempt.

Just annoyed that she used to self settle but stopped when we moved house.

My first glass of wine is unfinished as the 15mo wants to party and not sleep.

Like a pp the neighbours firecrackers are not helping...

Rocky Horror is the only thing keeping me from losing it.

Sending luck Greenbag :-)

Just let her stay up Ange, it's new years, after all.

Just downed my first cruiser for the night....and the first for a very longtime. Had a crappy day with 2 big fights with DH over stupid stuff that also upset our kids and now he's gone to bed. So goodnight and good riddance I say! We had planned to take kids into the 9pm fireworks but took kids to Luna Park yesterday and didn't get home until 11pm, so thought fireworks not a great idea, although the kids have been the most we'll behaved today than they've been in weeks.

Anyway time for the next drinky.

Good luck greenbag.

It is wonderful. Have champagne, had a gin and tonic earlier, the kids are nodding off to Hairspray and I chose to stay home and it is wonderful!

ddance.gif  New Years Baby!!

I've finally sat down and I'm waiting for DH to come home from work original.gif although i couldn't wait and started on the wine original.gif

I just vacuumed and mopped my floors. I'm cracking into organising my house for 2013! I got the kids to take the Xmas tree down today while I mowed the side of the house and used the ride on out the back.

When I was at Masters the check out lady told me that it was bad Feng Shui to clean on New Years so I think I'll take that and run with it so I dashed around this arvo to get stuff done. Relax tomorrow!

Also chose to stay at home. Only reasonable choice were the fireworks in Coogee but couldn't be bothered trying to find a park and then entertain a tired 5 year old until the 9pm fireworks.

Having some nice champers, watched the fireworks on tv and now wondering what on earth has happened to the Rocky Horror Picture show.....I so don't remember this scene....

Oh now I remember it.....its almost at the end.....wow Susan Sarandon is sooo young. Not to mention Tim Curry
