6 days over by scan date.
1 day over by my dates.

Am an exhausted emotional wreck.
Distract me from my forever gestating baby and endless misery?

Oh you poor thing. Your baby definitely wanted to be a 2013 baby!

We are currently camping through a WA heatwave, in a tent. Melting!

You poor thing! I only went 5 days over with DS and that was very uncomfortable so I always feel sorry for mums who go overdue. I hope you suddenly go into labour today original.gif

Oh dear Cherish...

Hmmmm..... what to say?

Father New Year (we were away for Christmas only got home last night) brought us a high pressure water cleaner.

So far I have written my name on the concrete, and done assorted squiggles all over the steps and cleaned the lid of the recycling bin... think the house looks even scruffier than before!

Do you have an iPad?

Where's my water and Where's my Perry- awesome time wasters.

Hope baby comes safely soon.

You poor thing.  I went 12 days over with ds2 and it was just ridiculous.

Go for a swim. I found it was the only comfortable thing to do for any real period of time.

Or check out the google highlights of 2012 global and then aus and click through to read about any you don't know much about.... That would take a bit of time.

Or maybe skirting boards need cleaning?

Hope your baby comes soon!!

I know how you feel, even though i'm not overdue- yet. Due today by my dates, friday by the scan, and just know that neither of these will be met. So i'm sitting in front of the fan, trying to ignore the music blaring from my neighbour's NYD party, and trying not to feel too tragic/pessimistic/pathetic. Might take my sore, bloated, overheating self for another walk to escape the greatest party hits of the eighties.
Also freaking about the heat wave due later this week. *deep breaths*
We will NOT be pregnant forever! Really!

Heatwave?tent? I'm shuddering at the thought!

Funny countrymel!! I love doing that too!

Have an iPhone not an ipad- will have to have a look!

12 days? Oh em gee !!! I will be rocking in the corner if I get anywhere near that far!
Can you believe it's really not warm enough here to swim? ohmy.gif

Screw the skirting boards- they will always need cleaning Tounge1.gif

I haven't seen the life of Pi- I don't think I could bear to face the general public unless forced too!

I have 4 kids keeping me busy and my hubby goes back to work tomorrow sad.gif
Was really hoping to have a baby before he went back sad.gif

I went 14 days over with my last baby. I spent hours at the local pool most days as it was the only place I felt comfortable. Weightlessness was bliss. It also exhasted the kids so was a big win win.

Oh I can sympathise. My fourth baby was 9 days past due date and my fifth was 6 days past due date. My third came 15 days before his due date so my fourth pregnancy felt super long.

My fifth baby was due December 28th. I did not want him to come after the New Year. I was so depressed, hot, the other four kids were driving me mad. He ended up arriving on January 3rd. And I will say it is great. There is a nice gap between Christmas and his birthday. We get all the Christmas/ New Year celebrations out of the way and then I have energy for his birthday original.gif

Oh you poor thing!  I was over it by 37 weeks with DS, and was starting to beg my OB to deliver him early  happy.gif

Hmm... I have nothing exciting to contribute!

My last day of holidays today.  I have spent the day either reading or doing a jigsaw puzzle.  It's party central here  happy.gif

Ooh it's Jan first so your DH will be entitled to two weeks paternity leave if you need him to take more time off!

Have you got a name sorted for bub?

Maybe you could scour the baby names forum?

The shoc of hearing Kim Kardashian is pregnant to Kanye West might help!!!

Am i correct in thinking that if bub was born on its due date (31/12) you DH would not be entitled to the 2 weeks paid leave (not sure what it is called) but now that bub is being born in 2013 you will be, that's one positive  wink.gif   Good luck I hope bub arrives safely soon!

#18 Cherish

Yep- we have a name sorted. Provided it suits her when we see her!
And the paid paternity leave is the only good thing about going overdue!

There once was a lady called Cherish,
Whose patience was getting a bit 'iffish',
She jumped up and down,
Belly-danced 'round 'n 'round,
And made mischief because she was impish.

I thought you might enjoy some 'poetry'.

Thanks- made me smile (big fat puffy face and all!

41 weeks today. I spent all day yesterday a useless blubbering exhausted mess. My DH spent the day massaging my back, kid wrangling, cooked us lunch and keeping me the sanest he could. Seriously am lucky to have him original.gif
Then went to bed at 830, and didn't surface til 5 (no midnight pee stops!!) kids are off to daycare today so I'm going to take each hour as it comes and do as little or as much as I feel like.

Thanks for the distractions original.gif
