Be rich. Have several investment properties. Pay off our to be loan very quickly. Be successful in my businesses.

And to eventually be fit enough, and good enough, to be competing in Roller Derby.

One day I'd also like to be an author or/and a painter. Probably later in life....

To find the man I'm meant to be with forever and live happily ever after.

The things I said at 16 that I wanted I've pretty much achieved. Degree x2, career, travel, daughter...

#1 To be a midwife.

#2 To be financially comfortable.

#3 To be the mother of 4 children.

We have 3 children, but I would dearly love another. Unless #2 happens in the next year, #3 will always remain a dream.

To travel.

And to live happily ever after with someone who cherishes me, with my 4 kids, big property and lots of cats and animals. We won't be rich but we won't be struggling and will be happy.

Oh well at least the dream of traveling is likely!

To travel Europe and Egypt, I think I could spend my entire life over there, I love the history of it all (I find mummification really fascinating, is that morbid?)

To look outside the window of a house I own outright and I see my children laughing and playing together in our very large, lush garden with mini orchard bursting with cherries, mangoes, guava, and DH is cooking some unbelievably delicious meal in preparation for a gathering of family and friends in the Spanish style courtyard near the mini orchard...

One From childhood was to go and at least watch world carriage driving championships. I did that in  96

Seems a bit of a pipe dream really...

I'd love to own a small home on acres (maybe about 5 acres) in southern Victoria or in Tasmania, grow my own food, and just live the simple life.

However with a DH in the RAAF and all the moving around that entails, seems like it won't ever happen.

to live self sustainably on an acreage property, my kids running around happy. me chasing after chooks in my floral apron and gumboots. cooking food from my garden, enjoying the beach, the bush, seeing my childrens delight at the moon rising.

I decided it was a dream worth actively pursing, I sold up my inner city house, moved to QLD and bought an acre, my self sufficient (water, electricity and waste, yes Im off the grid!!) property is about 6 weeks from completion. very excited. now to talk some friends and family into the dream too  wink.gif

To travel to the USA, it had been a dream since I was really young.
We did it the November just gone and it was everything I hoped it would be original.gif
New dream is to spend a Christmas there, hopefully 2014!
Just do it OP, we are on an average income with 3 kids but we just cut back on everything that we could cut back on and it's amazing how much you can save when you have to.

To sing and get paid for it. Not necessarily to be famous but yeah, be able to make a living from it. Nothing makes me happier in the world.

To see everything on my extensive travel wish list.

To visit (and in my wildest dreams, live for a while) in New York City.

To win a gazzillion dollar jackpot and live on a yacht like Greg Norman's, cruising the world.

An achievable dream is to be successful in my career, have dh's business go fantastically, to set ourselves up financially and to live on a small acreage with lots of pets and take holidays twice a year.

To give my children the skills to live independently. Or at the very least semi-independently in good shared accomodation.

I actually achieved my life long dream about 2 years ago. I can't say it improved my life any after all that. LOL.

My less than life long dream is to be a travel writer or in some way be able to travel ALL THE TIME. Not entirely sure that would improve my life either.

From a young age i always had a longing to be around children and knew i wanted to be a mum.

I became an early childhood teacher about 5 years ago, which i find very rewarding and two years ago had my DS (who is everything i dreamed he would be- even though he is a cheeky monkey at times). At the moment i would love to concieve another child, but ahead of that im not sure. This thread has me thinking....

Just thought of one..if money was no object i would love to open my own long day care centre (this is something i really wanted to do when i started my studies), but it is so expensive to do and im too scared to get into the debt. Hmm maybe one day when my kids are older.
