For christmas I asked for vouchers to go towards getting photoshop, instead I got $80 worth of itunes vouchers off my SIL. She said I can get elements 11 on the app store but i have looked and cant find it, found elements 10 on there but has terrible reviews because its in german and unusable.

So, What could i spend the $80 on, I really want an editing tool of some kind.

You definitely can't get Elements 11 from the App store. I wish you could! I got Elements 11 for Christmas, and it's fantastic. I had v.9 before but it didn't support my newest camera RAW files and v.11 does. I got a boxed version though, not a downloadable one.

The only one that I could see at a quick glance was Aperture, that's supposed to be pretty good but from the graphics, it's nothing like Elements.

Just had a look at Elements 10 from the App Store, it only seems to be the editor, it doesn't look like it includes the organiser.

Aperture is very like LR and very easy to learn and use.

How dogs could make children better readers

Issues around children learning to read are rarely out of the news. Which is hardly surprising – becoming a successful reader is of paramount importance in improving a child's life chances. Nor is it surprising that reading creates a virtuous circle: the more you read the better you become. But what may come as a surprise is that reading to dogs is gaining popularity as a way of addressing concerns about children's reading.
