I've always bought Lynx. Molly has a very narrow foot and unless you find special fittings, Clarke's don't fit well.
Unfortunately the Lynx shoes always scuff very badly immediately and the stitching falls apart on the strap. (Mary Jane style) I did notice this year that they have an extra row or two of stitching, so they listened to my complaints.
The shoes seem comfy and soft.
However this year I have bought a cheap pair of shoes from a chain store and I will see how they go. I will buy her good running shoes for sports though.
Some of the Ecco shoes look great, but I don't think Clarke's is what it used to be.
