I realise this is not the Wanted section but I thought because it was about schooling it might get read more here!
DD is starting at Chev this year in Year 7 and at our Orientation Day one of the teachers told us to wait and order DD's school uniform in January in case she grew. January comes around and we are told thath uniform orders had to be end by the end of last year!
We are hoping that the School will have some spares but in the meantime I thought I'd post a wanted ad for a second hand summer uniform (she is about a size 12) and possiblyo even a sports uniform.
If anyone has one to sell could you please PM me
Thanks in advance original.gif

How dogs could make children better readers

Issues around children learning to read are rarely out of the news. Which is hardly surprising – becoming a successful reader is of paramount importance in improving a child's life chances. Nor is it surprising that reading creates a virtuous circle: the more you read the better you become. But what may come as a surprise is that reading to dogs is gaining popularity as a way of addressing concerns about children's reading.
