Let's pretend you have two weeks, entirely to yourself, to go wherever you please. Where would you go and why?
I'd go to Nepal and do a trek. Why? Because I've wanted to, for the last 12 years. There's just something which appeals to me...

I'd go to London so I could spend as long as I wanted in the British Museum without feeling any requirement to leave.

Indiana to visit my one of my interwebz chums so we could do crazy stupid things together.

Back to the place where I grew up so I could catch up with the friends I never said goodbye to when I accidentally moved to Australia.

New York. I went in October and have wanted to go back ever since I left.
I love NYC.

Today, I would go to Tioman Island for a couple of weeks of lazy reading, swimming/snorkelling and delicious and cheap Malaysian food.
But my long term plan for when I can go away for weeks by myself is to walk the Camino de Santiago de Compostela in Spain. But that is more like a month or two, not just a couple of weeks.

Japan so I could visit Harajuku and dress up and buy all of the cute things.

Exmouth for a couple of days to swim with the whale sharks.
Then up to Palau to swim in Jellyfish Lake and dive at Blue Corner (arguably the best dive site in the world).
While in Micronesia, head over to Truk Lagoon to dive the shipwrecks / plane wrecks.
Stop in at an island resort somewhere (Lizard Island maybe??)... would plan on sitting around a pool drinking cocktails, but would probably wind up underwater again instead...
Big problem however would be that I would need to wait at least 24 - 48 hours between diving and flying, so between waiting around to be safe to fly and actually travelling, I'm not sure I could fit in all the dives I would want within 2 weeks... might have to make it 4 weeks instead, that way I can squeeze in a couple of days in Fiji and then head on down to the NSW South Coast to dive with the Australian Fur Seals... better make it 5 weeks, just to be safe...

Tirrano in Northern Italy. I'd meet my family, be fed to bursting and, if it's winter, head up the mountain and learn to ski.

To the south of France to visit my brother and his family.

New York, I'd love to see what it's like. We are having a family overseas holiday soon but, the cost of adding NY to our airfares was too much. DH wasn't keen anyway.

Right at this very minute, two weeks on Norfolk Island to sleep, read and do nothing is what I would love to do.
If I'm in travel bug mode, probably Egypt.
If I'm in 'need a catchup with my bestie' mode, then the UK.
Can I have more than two weeks please?

Egypt for a few days maybe a week. The off to Las Vegas! Have always wanted to go there! This holiday comes with unlimited funds right?
