Just wondering if anyone has a good gluten free play dough recipe? Or has anyone made it using GF plain flour as a substitute?
My daughter is coeliac and day care have enquired about GF play dough, as a means of minimising any likely hood of her coming into contact with gluten, but still allowing her to play with play dough... At the moment they are using clay for her instead.
Any ideas and suggestions would be most welcome!

I just used the usual cooked dough recipe for playdough, but with GF flour - it just doesn't last as long as the wheat based dough.

I haven't made this but I saved it ages ago thinking I would try it
200g rice flour
1/2 cup cooking salt
2 tablespoons cream of tartar
375ml boiling water
Combine dry ingredients in saucepan. Add boiling water. Stir. Heat over gentle heat until slightly transparent, turning over to cook both sides.
