Does anyone have any suggestions for accomodation on the foreshore that has views of the fireworks

This close to Australia Day on the foreshore, you'd be lucky to get anything.

If you get the right room at some of the motels in Rivervale, you might have better luck.

ETA: Great Eastern Motor Lodge have rooms facing towards the city. Or the Burswood.

I booked a room at The Rydges for $185 through wotif.com

I have never been there but the reviews on tripadvisor were good and we only plan to sleep there after walking own to watch the fireworks from Langley Park. But if our room has a view we may stay there. Might be worth ringing a few to see if they have a balcony with a view?

I'm so excited, DH and the kids have never seen the Skyshow up close original.gif

Good luck, I also looked on lastminute.com. Tripadvisor is a big help too.
