Just wondering if anyone has tried any form of the lose weight drinking coffee/consuming green coffee bean extract capsules?  I seem to be coming across it a lot and wonder if it really does work.  I am usually very skeptical of this sort of thing but Dr Oz seems to have added some weight (no pun intended) to its effectiveness.

WDYT?  Anyone with first hand experience that would care to share?

I don't know about weight loss but NescafĂ© sell an instant coffee made of green coffee beans and spruik it as having  better antioxidant properties compared to green tea.......

The major anti-oxidant in green coffee bean extract, chlorogenic acid, has been shown to profoundly inhibit the release of the G6P enzyme which significantly stabilizes blood sugar levels. In one clinical study a dose of 400mg of green coffee bean extract showed a 32% reduction in the post meal blood glucose spike.
