My son is in year two this year and came home today with a sticker and said he got it for great maths work and he said he also got a mintie.
Those who know me know I have a bit of a thing about healthy eating, junk food and lollies, especially when it's kids.
My concern is that his teacher is using lollies as a treat reward when just the satisfaction of doing a good job, praise from his teacher and maybe a sticker should be enough!! NOT LOLLIES
He started soccer this week and after the lesson the coach handed out snake lollies, ARGHHH!! We are trying to set a good food and exercise example and feel like I am being sabotaged at every turn as people 'in charge' try to fatten them up and give them cavities...
Should I email the teacher with my concerns?
