A year or so ago someone posted a link to a One Direction youtube parody for their song What makes you beautiful.

I seem to remember it was by a comedy group

Anyone know what one I am talking about?

arrgh, it was neither of those, though they were funny.

I think it had 'hot' guys in it, maybe around a pool?

I like some of the KEy of Awesome stuff, but found the gay references in this one a bit off. For me, One Direction is ripe for parody of it being a product developed to specifically target tween girls, and there is no need to use snide stuff about nascent sexuality of the band members

There are TONS of them if you youtube search it - everything from The Avengers, Halo (xbox game), guys from the Footy Show etc.
Overly Attached Girlfriend has even done her own sending up Taylor Swift breaking up with one of the One Direction guys

yep, princess, it was that one.  I just found it too.  A forgot that it was a political statement - I had been too busy looking at them  LOL

My boss just showed me Afghanistan troops doing 'call me maybe', so I wanted to show her these guys!

There a a whole heap of youtube clips of troops letting off steam in song or dancing in Iraq and Afghanistan.
