My nearly 6 year old asked for a mohawk so I let him get one. He looks awesome!

Yep - EB, it's JUDGEMENT TIME!! Go on. Judge me!! Declare me bogan!! Condemn my son to eternal bogandom because he got a particular hair cut!!

I have my flame-proof flanny on so FIRE AWAY!!  laugh.gif

Isn't a mohawk different to a mullet?

I'm glad he is happy.
Do we get a picture? biggrin.gif

Pfft, mohawks are awesome! Anyone who says otherwise is just jealous that they can't pull off such a rad look  tongue.gif

A little bit - yes. It curls. It's cute.  wub.gif

Of course he's allowed it at school. It's not a 3 foot high green mohawk or anything, it's just short on the sides and long down the middle.

Wait, did he get a mohawk or a faux-hawk?

It makes the difference between being a bogan and a faux-gan.

To be honest I thought this thread would have been a clear indication that I don't care if I/he is a bogan OR a faux-gan. ETA: And... that I think that if I/he gets judged differently on the two hairstyles then the person doing the judging is the tosser in my opinion. wink.gif

DH had a mohawk for a year or so (suitable for his job).

It was hilarious.

My friend dyed her 8 year old son's hair blonde the other day (he was previously a brunette).

Sigh.

I don't get it at all, sorry. A faux-hawk or a mohawk would not be  my type of thing on a kid. lol.

But he needs a label dammit.

All children should be clearly labelled.

YES!! I feel like a winner. There it is, the famous EB judgment coz I'm so bogan. I can feel your eyes rolling in disgust.

This place makes me want to be more and MORE bogan just so I'm the total opposite of "that".

Oh please!!!!  It's just a bit of fun and just a haircut, it can be changed tomorrow if necessary.  Little boys like to have fun with their hair too.
