Hi all,

We are looking at buying a Boori cot and using a babyhood cot canopy net to keep out our curious cats.

Problem is the large size states that it fits Boori cots (apat from sleigh) and is 135cm x 80cm. I can not seem to find a Boori cot this size or even close to this size they are all much bigger! cry1.gif

Does anyone know much about these nets and if they stretch or what Borri cot they fit on?

Many thanks!!!

Can you get a single bed sized mozzie net that you hang from the roof?

I have a cot mosquito net on a stand, I think the brand is Sweet Dreams. It was hard to find online though, I got it secondhand through Gumtree.

We used one of those with a Boori because of mosquitos.  It sort of fit.

It was half fitted - half balanced on the top of the cot rather than slipping neatly over all four sides.   Hard to describe really.  Basically it was slightly too small but fit well enough to do the job safely.    I wish I had a photo that shows how it fit, but I just checked and I don't.

That was three or so years ago now, so I dont' know if the size of the nets, or the Booris for that matter, have changed since then.

Thanks everyone for your responses.

I had thought about hanging one from the roof but I like the ones that are nice and tight so I know bub cant pull it in or the cats climb. I know I'm probley over thinking things but I worry! glare.gif

Thanks eight years, I get what you mean about it slightly fitting that's an option I will keep in mind and I will also on ebay and gum tree.

The other option I have found is to buy a grotime cot as they seem a little smaller. So much research to do!!!

Thanks again everyone!

My friend installed a fly screen door on her nursery to keep her kitty out: an option I hadn't previously considered!
