my name is Melissa, I am 30, married and I got a lil babygirl born in October 2012.
She´s growing so fast that I am currently looking for the next car seat after the baby car seat.
My hubby and me were watching for all kind of seats already and are insecure if we should choose a seat from 9 months up to 4 years or a group I/II seat which should be useable from 9 months up to 12 years. Does anyone has experiences with this kind of seats? Are they safe?

Thanks for your help.

Im a member of RAA and I find them really helpful when chosing a seat, they have chairs they recommend and you can also purchase it at a RAA discounted price and they can install it for free.   My son is 9 months and I thought he was growing out of his current seat, but when I booked into RAA to get them to install the forward facing chair they advised that even though its legal to have a 9 month old forward facing that they dont recommend it as they spine has not been fully developed.  They adjusted my current chair and I dont need to worry about the next size up til he is 1 years old, then I will go back to RAA and they will install the forward facing one.  The RAA guy was very informative and gave me lots of information about which chair they recommend and about the safety tests.
