I wasn't sure where to put this so I hope this is the right spot

**pregnancy mentioned**

DH and I are currently TTC#4 (please if you know me IRL keep it to yourself, as we want to keep this to ourselves), I have pcos, I don't ovulate on my own and have needed OI for all our children, with our first, clomid worked first go, when ttc#2 clomid failed 5 times so we moved on to femara which worked on our 2nd cycle. This might be a little TMI, on the first of May I took my first clomid tablet, and finished on the 5th, tonight after going to the toilet I noticed some spotting, I have no idea if it's going to turn into a full blown period or not yet but to say I'm disheartened is an understatement, I had rather high hopes this time round for some reason, I've been seeing a PT since the beginning of the year, doing what I can to increase our chances and I dunno, I just had a good feeling about it. Now I'm not sure what to do, do I carry on as normal, continue as if the cycle isn't doomed to fail, head back to my dr and see what he wants me to do (he is monitoring with blood tests), more than likely he will want me to just continue on, it's not like there's anything he can do about it anyway right, and right now it is just spotting (though those AF cramps are right there niggling at me). If I have AF now though then how the hell will I know when to start the next round. Man ttc sucks.

Did you have bleed with Provera prior to starting your Clomid cycle?

I would call the FS and see what they think but if it were me I would continue as normal and if AF arrived then start again as I would with a new cycle.

If you can convince the FS to give you a CD11 or so scan it will give you a much better idea of how the OI is progressing.

no he said I didn't need to have a bleed before starting, nothing else has happened since last night so hoping that's all it was.

edited to add: there was more so just called my dr who wants me to wait a month then try again sad.gif

Hi there, agree with Bazinga, it may be because you didn't have AF first? Will your doctor/FS give you provera so you don't have to wait? Hope you get some answers soon.......

By the way, there are heaps of us in the Clomid/OI thread and some may have more answers for you  original.gif

If I was you I would be asking to start a new fresh cycle with the Provera.

You will then know your lining is fresh and healthy.

Did you have any thin lining issues that you can get with your other Clomid rounds?

Hopefully you can have a scan mid cycle and a trigger if need be.

this ended up turning into full blown AF, I do plan on asking about provera next cycle so that this doesn't happen again.

I didn't want to go into the clomid/OI thread as I have 3 children and just doesn't feel like belong there, I know it is upsetting for others to read about previous pregnancies and children etc.

Sounds weird but its good it turned into AF that means no need for Provera original.gif

Have you started Clomid again?

I understand not wanting to join the other thread I felt a little weird being there with one child already but the ladies were fantastic and some in the same position.

FX for some follies original.gif

No he didn't want me to take more in case it overstimmed me so I am to wait 4wks, if AF doesn't show up and I'm not pg will do the provera and start fresh from that.
