Day 10 - Do some form of exercise, even if it's only for 10 minutes, either by yourself or with your kids
Welcome to Day 10 of the 'Find the awesome in your family' challenge & half way through!
Today, or sometime over the weekend, do some form of exercise. Go for a walk, kick the footy in the park, get on your bikes. Anything! Even if it's only for 10 minutes.
You can either take the time for yourself or do it with your kids. Get outside, breathe in the fresh air, and get moving!
share what you get done today - even if it is incidental exercise..

I have to say I love it when a challenge coincides with activities I've already got happening! Today was a cinch since I already had a one on one pilates sessions scheduled with my physio :-) Plus 10 minute walk each way. Was nice to have some much needed exercise that didn't involve lifting a 13kg toddler.

Morgaine: That's great, ....but surely lifting yr toddler up & down all day's got to count for some strength training right lol?! (that's my excuse anyway!)
I always wake up each morning & find I hav to do sine stretches on the carpet floor before I head out to face the crisis lol...but it's not quite long enough for 10mins & is not rigorous activity, so il plan to tackle that tomorrow as its predicted to be a lovely sunny day. Running around & picking up after a toddler & 8mth old bub & driving around today has got to count for something coz I sure feel like iv had a workout!

oh definitely RaRu! I think most mum's exercise everyday but it's the difference between doing it because we have to or because it's incidental activity and doing it as a focus for ourselves :-) I admire that you've got at least a stretching routine each day! Just seems too hard to do that

Well done everybody!
My kids are doing a step-a-thon so we are all getting some extra exercise trying to get our steps up!
