I am after ideas and recommendations for dinosaur toys, book, magazines, anything that an 8 year old boy will love.

He is not really into toy toys anymore but more educational learning things.

I would love to get a magazine type subscription thing but I can't really find anything.

My lord. Where do I start???

My 3yr old DD ADORES dinosaurs! We've got Dinosaur Train toys(given by relatives, I;m not a fan as they do NOT lend themselves to imaginative play at all), DVD's and books.
We go to the National Dinosaur Museum in Canberra every month or so(yearly subscription thank god) to look and buy figurines and whatever takes her fancy that day. They sell clothing and books galore. Most museums would have some stuff as well.
You can get Schleich figures at most good toy stores. As well as Collecta brand figures.

Dymocks have a good section of books aimed at the older child with dino facts and activities.
Youtube has all sorts of stuff on dinosaurs.
Clothing I'm sure you can get if you look hard enough. Though I've not seen any this season in a size 3.
Quilt covers in single size and upwards are available. target, Big W etc have them. Sheet sets as well.

Once you start looking, you see dinosaurs everywhere. trust me, I'm an expert lol.

i got DS a subscription to the Ranger Rick magazine a couple of years ago. It is an American mag so no local content, but the magazine itself is great.
